How we buy it
Hulled sesame is as much a processing question as a sourcing one, and the right answer depends on whether the seed is going onto a bakery line, into a tahini plant or into an oil mill. Oil content, colour and how much the seed breaks in handling all pull in different directions. Tell us the end use and we will quote the version that actually suits it, not the one with the best-looking specification sheet.

This one ships as seed only. We do not grind it, and we will tell you who does if you need that.

Samples are drawn when the lot comes in, and again from the finished goods before your container is loaded — so what you approved is what sails. Third-party inspection is arranged whenever you ask for it, and you get photographs of the loaded container either way.
